SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Revelstoke Mountain Beats Festival 2007
Sponsorship Package

The eighth year for annual Mountain Beats Festival will be the best yet. The community volunteers who organize this annual event continue to make changes that will increase attendance, express our local culture, and set a positive tone for Revelstoke’s summer events.

The Mountain Beats Festival is one-of-a-kind festival in the north Kootenay. Set up on the banks of the Columbia River, with a full view of Revelstoke’s snow-capped Monashee and Selkirk peaks, the three-day festival kicks off summer with live music, mouth-watering food, a micro-brew beer garden, artisans crafts, kids activities.

We have an amazing line up of live music that includes Funk, Reggae, World Beat, Folk, Bluegrass, Dub, Ska and more as well as a few talented DJ’s to tie it all together – three days of high-energy music. People of all ages come out to Revelstoke Mountain Beats Festival. The majority are BC and Alberta residents 25 to 50 years of age, non-traditionalists who are young at heart, who enjoy an active lifestyle and who support regionally cultivated talent and products.

We are anticipating an event attendance of 1000+. In previous years, roughly 60% were visitors from outside Revelstoke. Many visitors also plan activities in the region to book-end their stay.

What we plan:
The Festival takes place Friday, June 22ndth through to Sunday, June 24th. This festival has come along way over the past 7 years. There have been many successes to celebrate and a few challenges to learn from. A number of strategic decisions have been made this year to ensure future success.

The Marketing Strategy will give the festival profile in markets ranging from the coast to Calgary. We have arranged exposure on several websites and in several publications.

The 2007 event budget is $60,000, so we need the help of partners like you to help set the stage well in advance of the event. Cash donations are used to place deposits on artists, sound and light equipment, and to pay for event advertising. In-kind donations are used to reduce our production expenses (e.g. a free hotel room for an artist or a discounted price on gear). In return for your sponsorship, we offer you a range of promotional benefits and of course, free tickets to the festival.

With a successful event to kick off the summer, we all benefit…. There are several sponsor packages available, the promotional benefits of which are outlined below.

We are flexible, so if you have another promotional idea, let me know by phone at 250-837-5345 or email: carolp@revelstokecf.com
